Patricia Zhou

Biography

Patricia Zhou, hailed as one of the most versatile dancers in the world, is a freelance dancer, movement director and award-winning filmmaker. She has previously danced for the Royal Ballet in London, the Staatsballett-Berlin in Germany and the L.A. Dance Project by Benjamin Millepied. She was awarded gold and silver medals at the 2010 Beijing International Invitational Ballet Competition and the Youth American Grand Prix Competition in Paris, was a prize winner at the 39th Prix de Lausanne, and was also featured on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, becoming the first and only solo performer to dance on the show. Today, Patricia dances and choreographs on a project-to-project basis. She recently made her West End debut performing in Dr. Semmelweis alongside Mark Rylance and started as the Sugar Plum Fairy in a new jazz remake of the Nutcracker at the Southbank Centre.
