Gregory Lau

Biography

Gregory was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He started his training at Mid-Pacific Institute School of the Arts, is a graduate of LaGuardia Arts High School, and attended The Juilliard School, under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes. After attending The Juilliard School, Gregory joined Nederlands Dans Theater 2 from 2013-2016 and transitioned to Nederlands Dans Theater 1 from 2016-2019. Since 2019 Gregory has been an artist with Crystal Pite's company Kidd Pivot. He was featured in Doja Cat's 2021 VMAS Performance. In 2021 he toured with Mats Ek's duet program Dialogues performing Crystal Pite's duet "Animation". In 2024 Gregory joined Sharon Eyal Dance Company. Along with working as a freelance dancer he has appeared as an associate choreographer and dancer on the feature film “Smile 2”.
