LA Dance Project
Daisy earned her BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School in 2017 and moved to LA to join LA Dance Project under the direction of Benjamin Millepied. She is currently in her sixth season with LADP and has performed in new works/repertoire by Benjamin Millepied, Justin Peck, Kyle Abraham, Ohad Naharin, Shannon Gillen, Gianna Reisen, Janie Taylor, and Bobbi Jene Smith to name a few. She has been featured as Dance Magazine’s 2019 dancer “On the Rise” and Dance Teacher Magazine “What My Teacher Taught Me” as well as Honolulu Magazine “Breaking the Ballet Mold”. Daisy is a National YoungArts Winner and a Presidential Scholar in the Arts. She has attended programs with Houston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Nederlands Dans Theater, gaga Barcelona, ChuThis, ArtsUmbrella, and Springboard Danse Montreal. While attending Juilliard, Daisy performed in new works by Loni Landon, Zvi Gotheiner, Matthew Neenan, and Benjamin Millepied. She performed leading roles in masterworks such as Merce Cunningham’s BiPed, Jiri Kylian’s Symphony of Psalms, and Nacho Duato’s Por Vos Muero. While attending Juilliard, two of Daisy’s works were chosen for Choreographic Honors. As a professional, Daisy has choreographed and danced in the music video, “Mineral King” by Shulman Smith as well as “I Just Want To Be Here” by Eric Hirshberg. She has also recently directed and choreographed her own dance film titled, “Now That I’m Older.”
