Biography

Angeliq Aje is an alchemist in her own nature. Born in Atlanta, Georgia and classically trained in all genres of dance from the age of three, Angeliq considers movement and somatic presence her chosen language of life. Her curiosity and skill has led her to work with profound artists like Beyonce, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Ms.Lauryn Hill. Angeliq became Ms. Lauryn Hill dance instructor in 2018, age 20. She has been seen in shows such as Savage Fenty by Rihanna and films such a as Black Is King by Beyoncé. Angeliq can also be seen dancing for Vogue x CFDA, Netflix, Vogue World, Vma’s and for brands Carolina Herrera, Micheal Kors & more. Angeliq is a certified teacher and student of ashtanga yoga. Her somatic practices often included studies like chakra activation, sensory analysis, and intuitive building. Angeliq centers her movement improvisation and research around innate nature and is artistically inspired by colors, film, earthly elements, and the nuances of day to day life. Angeliq is also an actress, writer, poet, choreographer & director of movement.
