Biography

ATLAS B COMPLEX (they/them) is an experimental, post-disciplinary artist from Augusta, Georgia, whose practice is rooted in world-building and community-driven exploration. Moving fluidly across movement, multimedia installation, performance, sound, improvisation, video, sculpture, and design, they create immersive environments that merge the physical, auditory, and visual to explore transformation, identity, and the interplay between organic and technological realms. ATLAS’s work fosters collaboration, inviting audiences to become active participants in redefining the boundaries of art. While primarily focused on radical experimentation, their distinctive sense of physical storytelling and movement direction has led to notable collaborations with global brands and luxury fashion houses, including Alaïa x Bergdorf Goodman x Picasso Foundation, H&M, Mercedes-Benz x Saul Nash, Diesel, PUMA FUTROGRADE, and Issey Miyake. Drawing on influences from contemporary dance, street styles, and avant-garde performance, ATLAS seamlessly navigates commercial and experimental contexts, shaping narratives through intentional artistry. As a dancer, choreographer, movement director, and multimedia creator, ATLAS continues to challenge assumptions and expand how we experience art. By weaving together diverse forms and perspectives, they invite collective curiosity, encourage deeper connection, and transform performance into a shared act of imagination.
