Biography

Paul Zivkovich is an Australian-born performer, movement director, and creative collaborator based in Brooklyn, New York. His work spans the globe and reaches across many genres of art. He is currently Rehearsal Director/Performer for Punchdrunk and works internationally as a movement director for film, TV, music videos, visual art, and fashion. Since 2012 Paul has performed in numerous productions by Punchdrunk, including Sleep No More, The Drowned Man and The Burnt City. Paul was instrumental in bringing Sleep No More to Shanghai where he was part of the creative team that redefined the show for a new audience. As an original cast member in Punchdrunk’s production The Drowned Man in London, Paul received a nomination for ‘Best Leading Actor in a New Production of a Play’ at the 2013 BroadwayWorld UK / West End Awards. Paul was Assistant Choreographer for the feature film Anna Karenina, Movement Director for TV series Tin Star, Movement Director for Dior AW19 film campaign, and a featured dancer in Hotel Armada - a feature length dance film by YOPOOSH. He has received ‘Most Outstanding Performance by a Male Dancer’ at Australian Dance Awards. He has worked with the Australian Dance Theatre, Sydney Dance Company, Bonachela Dance Company, Akram Khan Company, Eastman/Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and Punchdrunk.
