Biography

Zoe is an Italian born dancer and choreographer with expertise in a variety of dance styles, specializing in street dancing, contemporary and modern jazz. Starting at the age of 6, she was trained professionally by Antonella Ascani, Cristian Ruiz and attended workshops leaded by Kris and many others talented Italian dance teachers. She continued her studies in New York City under Cal Hunt, Eric Negron, Javier Ninja, Akim Funk Buddha, Ejoe and Brian Green. Her work is an exploration of street and contemporary styles, which she combines to create new visual and emotional expressions. Zoe has recently performed at Queens Theater, Anita's Way and was awarded of New York City Artist Corps grant for her "Rowing Upstream" dance performance project. Furthermore she was selected by Topics for Best Walk | Ep 1 and has choreographed 070 Shake music video “My Night”. She performed at BAM cafè and Insitu Dance Festival as well. Zoe currently resides in Brooklyn, where she continues to cultivate and expand her craft, by collaborating with musicians, choreographing music videos as well as in solo performance.
