Biography
Camila Arana (she/her) is a queer, Cuban-American dance artist originally from Miami, FL and currently located in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from New World School of the Arts/ University of Florida with a BFA in Dance Performance in 2017. Since graduating, she has toured and choreographed for Grammy-winning artist, Kali Uchis. She’s also worked with artists, Hope Tala, Kate Hudson, Purity Ring, Pussy Riot, Sleigh Bells, K. Flay, and NIKI Zefanya and has modeled for brands such as Bowflex, Apple, Adidas, and Vanity Fair. She’s worked dance companies, Ate9, Mike Tyus & Co., and Acts of Matter. In addition to performing, she is also a collaborator, movement director and choreographer. Designing movement for musicians, visual artists, and creatives alike for the stage and screen. Aside from dance, Camila is also a fitness and health educator with certifications in pilates and personal training.
