Los Angeles native, Evan Sagadencky is a multifaceted dancer and choreographer. After graduating the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, Evan splits his creative endeavors between LA, NYC and Europe. Evan has adopted an expansive lens of contemporary dance; working with artists such as Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, Labrinth, Adele, Sam Smith and companies like Puma, Outdoor Voices, MAC Cosmetics, Lexus, Tmrw Mag and Google Pixel. Evan’s most recent choreographic work was shown on NOWNESS in director Kate Collin’s ‘What We Were’. In his current dancing pursuits, Evan is working with French collective (LA)Horde and acclaimed director Ivo Van Hove for a new creation set to the music of the internationally admired PJ Harvey. Evan concurrently works with Alan Lucien Øyen’s winterguests, touring ‘story, story, die’, most recently at the National Theatre and Concert Hall in Taipei. Evan began his career in his hometown of Los Angeles dancing with Ate9 dANCE cOMPANY under the guidance and direction of Danielle Agami. He has also worked with Yue Yin, Nicole Von Arx, Toogie Barcelo, Holly Blakey, Kyle Abraham and Karina Ortiz among others. Evan’s ambitions began at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) where Fiona Lummis, Alexa Kershner and Julie Friedrich ignited his deep love for contemporary dance forms. As a student at USC Kaufman, Evan studied with some of dance’s forefront practitioners including but not limited to William Forysthe, Barak Marshall, Bret Easterling, Sonya Tayeh and Rubberlegz. Forging his own artistic voice Evan choreographs, movement directs and creative directs commercial productions ranging from short films, music videos and campaigns.
