Goh Ballet Youth Company
Olivia Jaymes Runquist is a classically trained dancer who is currently training and performing as a soloist with the Goh Ballet Youth Company. Under the direction of Chan Hon Goh she has had the opportunity to perform various roles in the short films “The Reality of a Dream”, “The Fallen Prince” and the filmed production of “Coppelia”. Most recently, Olivia performed as the lead of “Aurora” in Goh Ballet Academys production of Sleeping Beauty called “Beauty Awakens”. During this she had the opportunity to train and dance with the Royal Danish Ballet's former principal dancer, Marcin Kupinski, as her prince. Olivia has also performed the lead role of “Clara” in the Jeunesse Classique Ballet Society's production of “The Nutcracker”. Olivia has also had the opportunity to train with many esteemed mentors in some of the finest ballet schools in the world such as the School of American Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet School, English National Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet School, and Southland Ballet Academy. Although Olivia aspires to be a professional ballerina, her love of acting has allowed her to perform in other various short films and projects as well as train with well-known actors and photographers in Los Angeles and Vancouver. You could describe Olivia as trainable, easy to work with, eager, reliable, ambitious, adaptable, resilient, and always up for a new opportunity, challenge, or adventure. One of Olivia’s favourite quotes is “Be willing to be a beginner every single morning.”
