Jesse Kovarsky

Biography

Jesse was mostly recently seen dancing on the Grammys with Chappell Roan. He also danced alongside Ariana Grande at the MetGala and can be seen grooving out in Jessie Ware’s ‘Begin Again’ music video. He began dancing in London working with choreographers Sidi Larbi Cherkoui, Russell Maliphant, Hofesh Shechter, Arthur Pita, Aletta Collins, Lynne Paige, and Junk Ensemble. He worked extensively with Punch Drunk on their shows 'The Drowned Man' and 'Sleep No More'. Jesse stared as a principle dancer in the opera 'The Death of Klinghoffer' at the ENO and revived his role at The Metropolitan Opera House. While in New York, Jesse performed on Broadway in the shows 'Fiddler on The Roof', and 'The Bands Visit'. He has worked extensively with Ryan Heffington, Celia Rowlson-Hall, Sonya Tayeh, Bobbi Jene Smith, Sam Pinkelton, and Alexander Ekman. He has collaborated with recognizable brands such as Netflix, Amazon, A24, Hermes, Saks Fifth Avenue, Apple, Uniqlo, Outlier, and Virgin. Jesse was a Helen Hayes Nominee for his choreography in the Shakespeare Theater Company's 'Much Ado About Nothing'. He has choreographed Fischerspooner's 'Top Brazil', "On that Day in Amsterdam' at Primary Stages, and movement direction for the feature film 'Our Son', NY Magazine, Outlier, Paper Magazine, Peloton, Vogue, and other various publications.
