Catherine Kirk

Biography

Catherine Kirk is a performing dance artist, choreographer, yoga teacher, digital content creator, and marketing strategist from Dallas, Texas. She cultivated a passion for movement and continued her education in the arts, graduating with a BFA from New York University and received her yoga teacher training in 2013. Catherine was an Artist in Residence at Art Cake in Brooklyn, NY for their first Dance Series in the space, highlighting NY based choreographers and a Jonah Boaker Artist in Residence and Curator.. She teaches Improvisation and contemporary movement and has spoken on an array of panels and town halls advocating for arts workers and wellness practices. Catherine continues to dance in her 11th season with the world-renowned touring dance company, A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, and is in her second season dancing for the historic Trisha Brown Dance Company.
