Kibrea Carmichael is a dancer, model, actress and choreographer whose work spans across film, television, live performance, multimedia production and branded content. Kibrea was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, where she began studying dance at the Baltimore School for the Arts Twigs program. She progressed to the Baltimore School for the Arts performing in ballets such as The Nutcrackers with Barry Hughson, Hansel and Gretel with Samantha Christiansen, and Serenade with Debra Wenger. She is an alumni of The Ailey School where she studied in the Certificate Program. She has a strong technical background and a professional freelance dance career that began in the concert world. Kibrea played a conglomeration of roles in Arthur Pita’s dance play “The Tenant” for The Joyce Theater Productions composed by Frank Moon and starring ABT soloists James Whiteside and Cassandra Trenary. Kibrea utilizes her extensive training in ballet, contemporary, gaga, Horton, Graham, jazz, tap, hip hop, samba, West African, South African, Limon and musical theatre to captivate an audience on all multimedia platforms in all forms of expression. Kibrea plays the lead women (Bride) in Daisy Zhou film “Close To Love”, Ella Ezeike’s short film ‘Words We Don’t Say and Matthaus Bussmann new upcoming film. She was born in the United States and is currently based in New York and London.
