Pier-Loup

Biography

Pier-Loup Lacour is a Montreal born dancer who studied at l’École supérieure de ballet du Québec. After his formation, he danced with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens and Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal. He has had the chance to perform choreographies around the world, by various well known choreographers such has: George Balanchine, Mats Ek, Andonis Foniadakis, Christian Spuck, Stephan Thoss and Christopher Wheeldon to name only a few. In 2019 he performed in two productions from Le Cirque du Soleil, Rebel in Andorra and Vitori in Malta. He also had the great privilege of doing re-staging work for Andonis Foniadakis at the Staatstheater Hannover. Pier-Loup worked two years in Munich, Germany with the Staatstheater am Gaertnerplatz. He has been working in Cologne with Richard Siegal: Ballet of Difference since 2022.
