Biography
Aliza Russell is a performing artist from Missouri currently based in New York, freelancing and performing in Punchdrunk’s ‘Sleep No More’. She has worked in live and immersive theater, film, and installation performances with choreographers and artists such as Bobbi Jene Smith, Maxine Doyle, Sonya Tayeh, Celia Rowlson-Hall, Jenn Freeman, Michelle Dorrance, and Austin Goodwin. She received her BFA in dance from New York University and additional training from Springboard Danse Montreal, the Martha Graham School, and Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Aliza is a 2018 Princess Grace Award Recipient in dance.
