Saskya Pauze-Begin

Biography

Born in Montreal, in the spring of '94, Saskya Pauzé-Bégin is not attached to any place, any culture. Like the seasons, she finds fulfillment in change. It is with the incredible teachings at Ecole Superieure de Ballet du Quebec that her passion for dance ignites into what it has been ever since. After 5 years of perfecting her technique and a final year filled with auditions, she graduates and joins Ballets Jazz de Montreal as an intern. She is with the company for the next 6 years (2014-2020) before moving to Europe to join Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, Germany, under the direction of James Sutherland. In the summer of 2021, she excitedly moves to Switzerland to join Buehnen Bern / Konzert Theater Bern under the direction of Estefania Miranda (now directed by Isabelle Bischoff) and has now been there for 2 years. Along her path she’s work with and/or danced the works of a multitude of choreographers such as Andonis Foniadakis, Caroline Finn, Marie Chouinard, KOR'SIA, Sharon Eyal, Metamorphosis (Iratxe Ansa and Igor Abramovich), James Sutherland, Po-Cheng Tsai, Huy Tran, Barack Marshall, Cayetano Soto, Itzik Galili, Roberto Pederneiras, Ishan Rustem, Wen Wei Wang and others.
