Isaiah K. Harvey is a New York City-based dancer. He began his dance journey at Innervisions Theater Arts Center in Queens, New York. After graduating high school, he pursued his passion at Montclair State University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in May 2018. He also trained at prestigious institutions such as the Earl Mosley Institute of the Arts, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and The Ailey School, where he received the Bob Fosse Gwen Verdon Scholarship. Harvey's performance history includes collaborations with singer and actress Andra Day and Rashaad Newsome's Bessie-winning production "Assembly." He has performed in prominent projects like the Earl Mosley Diversity of Dance, Black Iris Project: Vibrant Voices, and as a backup dancer for RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Olivia Lux. His repertoire features works by renowned choreographers including Alvin Ailey, Ulysses Dove, and Camille A. Brown, and he has worked professionally with Deeply Rooted Dance Theater. As a certified Lester Horton Technique Instructor, Harvey has taught at various institutions such as Williams College and Manhattan Youth Ballet. He also serves as Rehearsal Assistant to his mentor Earl Mosley. In 2023, he represented Ronald K. Brown EVIDENCE as faculty at the New Orleans Ballet Association's dance intensive. Currently, Harvey is involved with the Youth Arts Academy and the Innervisions Theater Arts Center while continuing his work as a dancer with EVIDENCE. His contributions to the dance community showcase his talent, dedication, and passion for the art form.
