New York city based artist, Kevin Pajarillaga builds a versatile artistic career spanning across contemporary dance, film, commercial gigs/campaigns, fashion and movement direction. Pajarillaga is currently an artistic associate with Gibney Company in NYC. Pajarillaga also made his TV debut performing for MTV VMA’s 2021 with Doja Cat at the Atlantic Barclays Center BK. In Pajarillaga’s performance career, he has professionally worked with contemporary companies including NW Dance Project, Yin Yue Dance Company, Sonya Tayeh Dance, and Bruce Wood Dance. Pajarillaga also guest performed with companies including Parsons Dance Company, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theater. He has also had the pleasure to work and originate roles with notable choreographers including Alan Lucien Oyen, Felix Landerer, Ebony Williams, Ihsan Rustem, Micaela Taylor, Maleek Washington, and Marla Phelan among others and perform repertory by Crystal Pite, Victor Quijada and Alejandro Cerrudo among others. As a choreographer, Pajarillaga has most recently movement directed “ The Executioner” with Collaborator Dan Colen and Claude “CJ” Johnson that opened the “Vegyn Exhibit’ at anonymous Gallery. For the stage, he has choreographed for NW Dance Project’s “In Good Company”, The Juilliard School’s senior showcase 2017, Citydance’s The DREAMscape Gala, and Booker T Washington HSPVA’s Dance ensemble. He also was a movement director and coach for artist “BIG WILD”, Jackson in 2019. In Fashion, Pajarillaga was a model + talent most recently for Dover Street Market x Sky High Farms collaboration that appeared on Vogue, Vanity Fair, HypeBeast, and BoF. Pajarillaga also danced for GAP SS 2018 commercial campaign “Experiment in Color” and in Apolla Performance Shocks campaign in 2017.
