CASTING NOTICE

We are looking for 8 contemporary dancers with exceptional partnering and floorwork skills, and intuitive acting ability.

All ethnicities and gender identities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Dancers must be able to provide proof of Canadian citizenship or a valid open work permit.

Audition: Sunday, September 11, 2022

Location: In Edmonton, exact location TBD.

Rehearsals: January 9 - 22, 2023.

Tech Week: January 23 - 27, 2023.

Performances: January 28 & 31, 2023, and February 3, 2023.

Weekly minimum between $1,000 CAD and $1,500 CAD, per the CAEA Opera Agreement.

All performers must be fully vaccinated at least two weeks before the rehearsal start date.

Masks might be worn during rehearsals but not during the performances.

Dancers who are non-union can still audition.

If hired, you’ll be asked to join the Union.

Minimum 30 hours/week
