Tempting Fate is a song by Beth Crowley that is inspired by The Song of Achilles, the popular YA novel about the lives and relationships of Ancient Greek figures Achilles and Patroclus. The music video aims to use movement to tell the story of the open secret of their same-sex relationship, the pain of watching someone change, and the quest for power that leads to their ultimate demise.
