CASTING NOTICE

Professionally trained contemporary or modern dancer with a strong presence and the ability to learn quickly.

Must be comfortable with improvisation and performing in a non-traditional environment.

Artist duo Operator has created an artwork called Human Unreadable, which combines generative art, blockchain, and choreography. They will be exhibiting this work as an installation during Miami Art Week, with performances on December 7-9, 2023. The dancer will be performing all 31 moves from the project's movement library, in any order the dancer chooses, in a series of performances (on for 15 minutes off for 15 minutes) for 1.5-hour blocks.

Rehearsal and fitting: December 5, 2023

Performance dates: December 7, 2023 (11:15 am-12:45 pm performance block, 4:30 pm -6:00 pm performance block), December 8, 2023 (2:15 pm - 3:45 pm performance block, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm performance block) December 9, 2023 (2:15 pm - 3:45 pm performance block)

Usage: Event documentation, photo, and video, (which will include the performance) will be used for video recap of the event, social media, website, artists archive, documentary about Human Unreadable, and images may be used in forthcoming book about the artists practice.
